Child seats must be installed according to the specifications outlined in Chapter 3 of this
manual.
The Toyota Yaris includes front and side airbags. Do not place objects on or near airbag deployment
zones.
Refer to the towing capacity table before attaching any trailer or load
carrier.
Maintenance Schedule
Oil changes are recommended every 10,000 km or 12 months,
whichever comes first.
Brake fluid should be replaced every two years regardless of mileage.
Air filter
replacement is due at 30,000 km intervals under normal driving conditions.

Troubleshooting & Warning
Lights
If the check engine light illuminates, do not ignore it -- consult a Toyota authorised technician
promptly.
Battery warning: pull over safely and do not restart the engine until inspected.
Tyre pressure
monitoring system alerts indicate a tyre is 25% below recommended pressure.
